The puppies had a lovely week this week. They’ve got the hang of the litter box, and are eating 4 meals a day (9 puppies + 4 meals = a LOT of food!). Dory still wants to feed them, but my goal was to have them weaned by 7 weeks or so.
They are getting cuter by the day, and their personalities are really setting in. I’m so excited to temperament test test them next Saturday with the fabulous Jill Raugh. We will take them to a park a few blocks away, and Jill will do the testing while I score, since they have never met her before. Should be lots of fun! They will also receive their first set of vaccinations this week, and I will begin putting their puppy packets together to go to their news homes! We don’t know who’s going where yet, but will have a better idea as the time gets closer…
This is our first attempt at stacked photos. Some did great – others, not so much! LOL! This week I will do photos on Saturday when Jill is in town.
Jack is still the boy with the best, most even temperament. I’m looking forward to temperament evaluations during week 7. He is going to be a very special puppy I think. 🙂
Billie is a little dynamite, and she also did not want to comply with photos! She is so cute though. She is also very saucy like Neko!
Dolly has a lovely top line, and is very type. A little less bone than the other girls, but she has a gorgeous head.
Cash is my favorite boy, and he would make a lovely show puppy. He shows a lot of promise at this point, and I think he looks a lot like a great combo of both parents! I can’t wait to see him in the next couple weeks and see what stays and what changes..
Elvis is a sweetie. He also did not want to stand for photos!
Iggy is a lovely boy, and he is assertive. He will be a great “leader of the pack”!
Stevie is so sweet and she might get a few extra cuddles than the others (I know “moms” aren’t supposed to have favorites, but…)
This is not a good photo of Ace, but it’s something. He wanted to lay down on the stacking box!
Neko is a saucy little girl! She is also very vocal, and has a lot to say! She is drivey, and loves to chase balls already. She fears nothing!
