Busy Summer

This has been one of the busiest summers that I can remember. Nursing school has kept me quite busy and with managing a 4.0 between my two labs and two lectures, I’m pretty happy! I have a small break between classes, and then I’ll jump right into the fall quarter before the big winter break.

Much of my dog stuff is more or less on hold due to school, but I’m going to try to do a couple of shows here and there. I do miss going to shows. I was able to squeeze in quite a few in the spring, but it’s looking like the next one will not be until Freeport at the end of September. Kenna will be 6 months by then, too.

We were able to do the StrikerxUla breeding, which I am very excited about. If the breeding took, puppies will be due on October 14th – Columbus Day! I’m not going to get too excited until I know for sure, but she sure is acting a little different than usual. I have next summer “off” from school, which means I can work and I might be able to go to a few shows. Next fall will be my last quarter, and then I will be done with my Master’s in Nursing. 🙂 So, even if I am not able to do a whole lot of showing until after I am finished with the program, The puppies will be just over a year at that point. So, that was my rationale. Fingers crossed I will be posting an x-ray photo in the not too distant future… 🙂

About This Book is a Movie

I used to think that by the time I was 30, I wouldn't daydream as much, but I still do. I am a mom, and that is my favorite thing. I am a nurse.
