 and down, but getting there!

Kenna post-taping!

Every time I enter a dog show that is more than two hours away I kick myself the morning of. Win or loose, I’m not a morning person, and early rings times don’t help along with driving to a state that is an hour ahead of me.  However, this weekend was really worth the trip, and I’m glad that nagging little voice in the back of mind convinced me to enter. I got to see Jill  and meet some new cardi people. Jill met babyKenna, and she owns Kenna’s Grandpa Tigger and Uncle Bolt. Kenna got to meet her cousin Natasha and they had puppy fun together. She also got to meet a few other people and puppies.

On Friday, Eden was WB for another 1 point, which puts her at 4 points (with one major). Ula was Best of Breed on Friday for a 4 pt major/competition win under judge Terry DePietro. Thank you for this wonderful win! On Sunday, under PWC breeder Linda Galphin, Ula was select for a 3 point major/competition win over 4 other bitch specials. Ula now needs 1 point to finish her GCH, and she will be my very first Grand Champion. Dory still needs some time before I will get her back in the ring to finish. She stands at two majors and one competition win with very limited showing right before she went on maternity leave.

This coming week Eden is headed to Fargo and Ula and I are headed to a local show. So many shows coming up this summer! This is also Oliver’s last week of 3-year-old preschool and week 9 of my 11 week quarter. BUSYBUSYBUSY!
