Holmes earned his Rally Advanced title in just TWO days on ONE weekend (2 trials on Saturday, and 1 one Sunday). I was so proud of him. And then…….

Holmes earned his CD in just 3 trials, and I was incredibly proud of him! He got his first leg at the Rosemont show in December. I only entered him one day, and he took third in a class of 7. The dogs that placed 1st and 2nd were receiving their titles, and this was only his first try! He even placed over a dog that had earned his title ythe day prior. Then, at the end of December, I eneterd him in the Saturday trial at Cudahy Kennel Club (the morning trial for obedience was full, so I could only enter him in the afternoon), and then on Sunday. He was the only dog in Novice A on Saturday, and the other dog in Novice A on Sunday NQ’d, so he got two blue ribbons, but by default. Wish there would have been some competition. 🙂

He is probably the smartest dog I have ever had a chance to work with. He learns very quickly he has a lot of drive to do so. Good boy Holmes!

Yay, Holmes! Good job for a baddog.

  2. I could not be prouder of you both. It takes lots of practice, dedication and faith in each other.
